Rangers are ready for transfer work to ramp up significantly at Ibrox.
Things have been slow at Ibrox so far, as Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers Enterprises waited to complete their takeover of the Gers.
Once the new investors were in place, focus then shifted to the appointment of a new manager, with Russell Martin being chosen as the man to take the Light Blues forward.
There is plenty of work to be done at Rangers before pre-season gets underway, though, and it seems as though things are soon set to kick into action.
49ers call off Oumar Camara transfer
Although Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers both had positives to take from this season, Martin feels as though another striker is needed at Ibrox to boost his options.
With Dessers linked with a move away from Ibrox, too, the Gers may soon have a top scorer that needs to be replaced in Glasgow.

It had previously been reported that a deal had been agreed to sign Oumar Camara this summer, with the striker rejecting the option to stay at Paris Saint-Germain in favour of a move to the Scottish Premiership.
The 18-year-old is yet to break into the first team in Ligue 1, but he is captain of the under-19s team and was said to have agreed a long-term professional deal in Glasgow.
However, it has now been reported by L’Équipe (9 June) that since taking charge, the 49ers and Cavenagh are going down a different route, with this deal now cancelled.
Nevertheless, Camara is not expected to stay with PSG either.
Martin needs proven players at Rangers
While it’s not clear exactly why the deal to sign Camara has been called off, and who really made the call, it may not be the worst decision.
While the 18-year-old is a highly rated prospect, Martin wants his side to hit the ground running next term and therefore it may be safer to opt for players with more experience.
Furthermore, the Scottish Premiership is no easy league, and anyone playing in Light Blue needs to be able to cope with the physicality that men’s football demands.
Matija Frigan is also said to be on Rangers’ radar this summer, and as someone with more experience but still young, it could be a more sensible move.
