Cameron Burgess appears set to leave Ipswich Town this summer amid links to Rangers and Valencia.
After spending four years at Portman Road, the 29-year-old appears set to seal his permanent exit.
As his contract is expiring, Rangers can now sign Burgess on a free transfer after 30 June.

Having played 18 Premier League games last season, the centre-back was certainly a valuable first-team player.
However, he does not plan on extending his stay in East Anglia and will explore new opportunities in the coming weeks.

According to EADT (17 June), Valencia and Gers are the two clubs linked with a move for the Australia international.
They claim that a two-year deal, which was lucrative, was put in front of him a few months ago, but he turned it down.
He was aware that he would have to fight Jacob Greaves for a starting spot in the Championship next season and opted against signing a new deal.
Rangers should prioritise signing Conor Coady
Burgess would be a shrewd signing for Rangers, offering a 6ft 4in, left-sided centre-back with 18 Premier League appearances for Ipswich Town in 2024/25, despite their relegation.
His physicality, aerial dominance, and experience in the EFL make him well-suited for the robust Scottish Premiership.
As a free agent, he’s a cost-effective option to bolster the Ibrox outfit’s defence, especially with Robin Propper’s potential departure and Leon Balogun’s exit.
However, Conor Coady should be prioritised by Rangers if it’s an either-or scenario.
Coady’s leadership, with 10 England caps and captaincy experience at Wolves and Leicester, brings vital stability to a squad in transition under Russell Martin.
His 19 Premier League starts last season and familiarity with sporting director Kevin Thelwell enhance his fit.
Signing both – Burgess on a free and Coady at a discount due to Leicester’s relegation – would optimally balance experience, physicality, and cost for Rangers’ title and European ambitions.
