Carlos Alcaraz debuts new dance moves after important win in Barcelona

Carlos Alcaraz is starting clay-court season off in style.

After winning his first title at Monte-Carlo, the Spaniard has punched his ticket to the Barcelona final with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Arthur Fils.

Carlitos is nothing without his flair and he showed that after the match, hitting a ‘shimmy’ dance move for the crowd in his home country.

Alcaraz is on an incredible run overall, but specifically on clay courts. He is set to defend a French Open title in less than a month. He won silver at the Olympics on the same court, falling to Novak Djokovic at Roland-Garros. He is coming off his sixth Masters title at Monte-Carlo. On Sunday will have a chance to hold the trophy for the third time at Barcelona after winning in 2022 and 2023.

In 2025, Alcaraz is 24-4 including a current 9 game win streak. He’ll aim to make it 10 when he faces fellow upstart, Denmark’s Holger Rune, in the final.

Fans can only hope he will show more of that signature Alcaraz style on the clay.
