Everton’s owners plan to back David Moyes with a summer budget of around £70million, sources have told Football Insider.
The Scottish manager led the Merseyside giants to Premier League safety after returning to Goodison Park in January.
The Friedkin Group (TFG) is looking to help the club compete in the top half of the table after completing its takeover in December.
There is set to be plenty of change on and off the pitch this summer as Everton prepare to make the move from Goodison to their new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock.
Sources have told Football Insider TFG is prepared to back Moyes with a transfer budget of around £70million as he looks to rebuild his squad.
That budget is set to fluctuate depending on potential outgoings, with the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Beto linked with moves away.

Everton in talks over Dominic Calvert-Lewin deal
Everton are in a stronger profit and sustainability (PSR) position, but they are still expected to be slightly restrained following their previous issues.
There is set to be a significant overhaul of the squad this summer after it’s been confirmed several players will leave the club.
Abdoulaye Doucoure, Ashley Young, Joao Virginia, Asmir Begovic, Mason Holgate and Neal Maupay will leave when their contracts expire on 30 June, while loanees Jack Harrison, Jesper Lindstrom, Orel Mangala and Armando Broja are returning to their parent clubs.
Everton remain in talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michael Keane about extending their stay on Merseyside, but they will also leave at the end of this month if no agreement can be reached.
Carlos Alcaraz has already been confirmed as Everton’s first summer signing after the club triggered the £12.6million option-to-buy clause in his loan deal from Brazilian side Flamengo.
Everton told £35m Thierno Barry offer will be accepted
In terms of a potential incoming, Football Insider revealed on 14 June Everton have been told a £35million offer for Thierno Barry will be accepted as they plan to make Villarreal a big-money offer.
The 22-year-old has been identified as a key target for the Merseysiders as they prepare for Calvert-Lewin’s likely exit.
However, Villarreal are under no pressure to sell Barry as he is under contract until 2029 after only joining the La Liga side from Basel last summer.
