TalkSPORT broadcaster Hugh Woozencroft has now claimed that he will be “stunned” if this is not the opening fixture, as the perfect match-up for several reasons.
“If Everton v Man Utd isn’t on the opening weekend of the Premier League season, I’ll be stunned,” he posted via X (17 June).
