Every confirmed Southampton transfer in and out amid summer transfer window plus latest rumours

Southampton have been busy so far in the summer transfer window, with changes in the dugout as well as the dressing room, at St Mary’s.

In the wake of relegation from the Premier League last season, Will Still was appointed by Southampton to lead the club’s search for instant promotion from the Championship.

Still, whose Sunderland move fell through last summer before Regis Le Bris was appointed, led RC Lens to a respectable eighth-placed finish in the French top flight during his first season at the club.

The summer transfer window will be imperative for Southampton, and the Saints have been linked with several targets of late.

Southampton have been tipped as promotion contenders in the early predictions for 2025/26 Championship, and have made a positive start towards that trajectory in the summer window with the acquisition of Joshua Quarshie.

The 20-year-old arrived from Hoffenheim earlier in June for a fee in the region of £3.5m, seeing Still’s first summer signing at Southampton pen a four-year deal.

Centre-back Quarshie spent last season on loan at Greuther Furth from Hoffenheim. Southampton technical director Johannes Spors told the club: “His outstanding athleticism makes him a natural fit for the energetic playing style our new manager hopes to implement.”
