The Georgia Bulldogs’ special teams unit is undergoing significant changes as junior punter Noah Jones has entered the NCAA transfer portal. This move comes shortly after starting punter Brett Thorson announced his return for the 2025 season, potentially impacting Jones’ opportunities for playing time.
Jones, who joined Georgia as a preferred walk-on, spent three seasons with the Bulldogs. Although he did not see game action, he was a consistent presence in practice and contributed to the team’s depth at the punter position.
