Nottingham Forest are exploring deals for Juventus duo Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula this summer transfer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo wants to sign Weah and Mbangula to bolster his wide areas as he prepares for a congested fixture list next term.
With European commitments on the horizon, Nottingham Forest need a much bigger squad if they’re to compete in four competitions.
It’s understood Forest want to keep Anthony Elanga despite trying to sign two wingers, so these potential deals will have no bearing on his future at the City Ground.
Anyhow, a not-so-positive update has just emerged about Weah.

How Timothy Weah feels about joining Nottingham Forest
Weah is valued at around £11.9m by Juventus, and Forest are really keen on completing a deal.
The 44-cap USA international is an extremely versatile player as he can operate on both flanks and even as a right and left-back.
Last term, Weah registered a commendable 11 goal involvements and that has alerted other Premier League clubs, including Everton.
However, according to TuttoSport, a move to Forest looks in real jeopardy as the 25-year-old is reportedly unconvinced by joining the Tricky Trees.
Although, there is good news on his teammate Mbangula.
Mbangula open to Forest move
Fortunately, Mbangula is open to the idea of joining Forest as he sees the move as a real ‘opportunity’ to play in the Premier League.
Former Juve boss Thiago Motta was a big fan of Mbangula, but he was sacked in March earlier this year, and the new man Igor Tudor hasn’t fancied him.
Tudor has only handed the 21-year-old four minutes of football, so evidently he is deemed surplus to requirements.
That’s Forest’s gain, though, as he is considered one of the most promising youngsters in Italian football.
