Wolves look like they could make their first signing of the summer soon, with speculation picking up around Fer Lopez.
Wolves’ interest in Lopez was first reported on Friday.
Pretty soon after, it was claimed Lopez and Wolves had agreed on personal terms and that all that was needed was an agreement between Wanderers and Celta Vigo.

There is a growing feeling that Wolves will get the deal done.
But they won’t stop there, with there being claims previously that Wolves are out to sign two number 10s this summer, after selling Matheus Cunha and losing Pablo Sarabia on a free.
And simply put, there is a one player Wolves should be pushing for to accompany Lopez at Molineux.
Wolves should sign Evann Guessand after Fer Lopez

Wolves have seen a lot of goals and assists go out of the team with the sale of Cunha.
The Brazilian had become an output machine for Wolves, and his departure could really sting going forward.
Lopez looks to be a great prospect, but it’s important that Wolves look to land someone with a bit more experience.
And one player Wolves have looked at recently is Evann Guessand of Nice. Apparently, Wolves have been contemplating making a bid for the Ivorian.
Guessand scored 13 goals and made 10 assists across all competitions last season.
23 goal contributions is very impressive stuff, and potentially, he and Lopez could make a great pair of 10s to support Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Lopez is said to have great defensive work rate, but also creativity to boot. Potentially, that could make him an upgrade on Marshall Munetsi as the right 10.

Guessand appears to be someone who could replace Cunha, given his physical build, ball-carrying ability and goalscoring and assisting potential.
Together, they would both be really good players for Strand Larsen to play off.
The Norwegian has many good aspects of the game, but it’s vital to get the right players in and around him so that he doesn’t become isolated.
Guessand and Lopez are both mobile and in theory, they could really help him to build on the season he just had.
Wolves face big competition to sign Guessand
Guessand could be a hard player to sign.
His efforts last season with Nice have made him a wanted man, and Wolves surely will not have a straight run at him.

But Vitor Pereira could do a lot worse than to order a pursuit of this player, as he does look a real threat.
Hopefully, the presence of Emmanuel Agbadou might be something that comes in clutch here.
Agbadou and Guessand are international teammates with the Ivory Coast, and Wolves said previously that Agbadou served as something of a consultant when Marshall Munetsi was decided whether to join the club.
