Originally from Málaga, Spain, Tamba’s basketball journey has seen him play across various levels in the United States. After beginning his collegiate career at Idaho State, he transferred to Indian River State College, a junior college in Florida, before settling at UC-Davis for the past two seasons. During his tenure with the Aggies, Tamba established himself as a consistent and efficient contributor.
In the 2024-25 season, Tamba started all 32 games, averaging 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 assists per game. He showcased impressive efficiency, shooting 58.7% from the field and 66% from the free-throw line. His performance was instrumental in UC-Davis’s success, and his versatility as a forward will be a valuable asset to LSU’s lineup.
