Wolves have landed their first signing of the summer, and are now keen to add more new faces.
Fer Lopez arrived from Celta Vigo last week, becoming the club’s ninth most expensive transfer ever.
The Spaniard is expected to compete to play in the right number 10 role, and there is excitement about the 21-year-old.
Lopez is supposedly a bit like Riyad Mahrez in play style, so hopefully we will be seeing some strong technical ability and trickery.
Wolves are also in the market for a new midfielder this summer, with uncertainty over the futures of Tommy Doyle and Boubacar Traore.
Doyle has been linked with Sunderland and Wrexham among others, and is likely to be leaving.
In recent days it has been suggested that Wolves could join the bidding for Nicolas Raskin of Rangers – and fans have now issued their verdict.

Raskin – previously branded ‘special’ by his former manager Luka Elsner (via Rangers Review) – has certainly marked himself out as a solid player up in Scotland since he joined Rangers in 2023 from Standard Liege.
But one gets the feeling that it will not be easy for Wolves to sign him this summer.
As well as other clubs like Villa holding an interest, Raskin is not particularly interested in leaving Ibrox.
He said in May (via BBC Sport): “I’ve been enjoying myself this season and it’s not so often that you can enjoy yourself in a club, so I’m really happy here.
“I’ve got two more seasons in my contract, so as long as the club wants me, I’ll be here and then we’ll see what happens.
“It’s going to be a big change in the summer, so who knows what’s going to happen.
“I don’t know. We need to be successful next season. We’re coming back on the 23rd of June, so it’s not that far away. We need to plan the pre-season and all this.”
From these comments, what’s clear is that Raskin will not be pushing for an exit. Any departure is going to hinge on what Rangers want to do. As he is a key player, it’s difficult to see them selling unless a huge offer arrives.
