Rivervale MAXUS to Title Sponsor 2025 CACT Golf Day

The Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) has announced that Rivervale MAXUS will be the title sponsor for the 2025 CACT Golf Day, scheduled for Thursday, May 1st, at the prestigious Wildernesse Golf Club in Sevenoaks.

This annual event aims to raise funds to support CACT’s ongoing community initiatives. Participants will enjoy a day of golf alongside Charlton Athletic legends, including Steve Brown, Jonathan Fortune, and Scott Minto, who will also serve as the event host. The day begins with breakfast, followed by a shotgun start on the greens, and concludes with a two-course meal, games, and a raffle.

Rivervale MAXUS, a prominent name in the automotive leasing sector, has a history of supporting community programs. Their involvement with CACT includes providing a sponsored minibus, which has been instrumental in facilitating various community services, such as transporting members to hospital appointments and delivering food during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sponsorship opportunities for the Golf Day remain available, including hole sponsorships priced at £1,500 + VAT. These packages offer brand recognition across CACT’s social media channels, company branding at a chosen hole, mentions in the event program, and the option of a fourball package or a team of three with a Charlton legend, subject to availability. Additionally, sponsors receive a complimentary fourball round of golf at Wildernesse.

Teams of four can still register for the event at a cost of £675 + VAT. Interested parties are encouraged to contact victoria.goldstone@cact.org.uk for more information or to secure their participation.

Rivervale MAXUS’s commitment to community engagement and sustainable practices, such as promoting electric vehicle adoption, aligns seamlessly with CACT’s mission to foster positive change through sports and community programs.

The 2025 CACT Golf Day promises to be a memorable event, combining sportsmanship, community spirit, and charitable giving.
