It appears Grealish’s time at Manchester City is coming to an end having been left at home for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Jordan has hit back at the speculation and suggested he can’t imagine Moyes wanting to rely on Grealish.
“The other option for him – which is probably less preferable – is to go to someone like Everton, for example, and be the big star,” said Danny Murphy.
To which Jordan hit back, saying: “Is he a Moyesy player? Is he a Moyesy player?”
“Would Moyesy put his hat on that?” he added.
Guardiola has admitted Grealish will likely move on this summer, with the winger needing more regular minutes than he’s getting at City.
But it seems there are some concerns as to whether the 29-year-old would actually be a good fit for Everton.
Grealish must hold desire to improve to play for Everton
The last year and a half has been a difficult one for Grealish, who has struggled massively at City for regular minutes.
It could not be clearer that he needs to move on this summer.
However, Everton should only take on a Grealish who is desperate to return to his best and want to get back into the England squad.
Everton think their new stadium could attract Grealish, but there also has to be a desire from the player to play for the Blues.
If a hungry Grealish is on the market this summer then he could prove a great addition, but he has to hold that burning desire to prove his doubters wrong.
