After completing his medical on Wednesday, Fer Lopez is closing in on a move to Wolves from Celta Vigo and will become Vitor Pereira’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
The Spanish playmaker could be soon followed through the doors at Molineux by multiple other players, including Evann Guessand, who has been valued at £34 million by OGC Nice.
Guessand is a versatile forward player, just like Lopez. So, it’s hardly surprising that Wolves have been linked with the 13-goal star as they need to replace Cunha’s incredible output.
Interestingly, the Wanderers have also taken a liking to some stars from the Premier League, with one Brazilian emerging on their radar.
Fulham’s Andreas Pereira has been ‘admired’ by Wolves
As reported by the Telegraph’s John Percy, Wolves’ recruitment team have ‘admired’ Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira at the start of the transfer window.
Pereira, whose contract expires in June 2026, is an established Premier League talent with 11 goals and 23 assists in 148 matches in the competition.
The 29-year-old is capable of operating as a deep-lying playmaker or as a number 10 across various systems, so it’s clear to see why he’s a player being admired by the Wanderers recruitment team.
The former Manchester United player has been capped 10 times by Brazil and will have featured alongside the likes of Matheus Cunha, Joao Gomes, and Andre.
He’s also currently sharing a dressing room with ex-Wolves heroes Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore at Fulham, and something interesting happened previously.
In a clash against Nottingham Forest last year, BBC Sport reported that Pereira was left annoyed by Jimenez, who stole the penalty off him.
Luckily, the Mexican dispatched his chance from 12 yards, but it didn’t prevent the two players from squabbling.

As it stands, Wolves have only shown admiration towards the Brazilian, though with his contract expiring in a year, perhaps Fulham would be willing to sanction his exit.
That is where Jimenez and Traore can influence Pereira’s decision by sharing their positive experiences with the football club.
Indeed, with Pereira surely looking for a new challenge after spending the last three years at Craven Cottage, Wolves should use his situation as an opportunity to sign him.
It would make perfect sense, too, as they’re looking for someone creative from midfield and he possesses such an attribute in abundance with six assists last term.
