There’s a lot of work to be done for Phil Parkinson this summer, so we’ve compiled a rundown of all the confirmed Wrexham transfers ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Being promoted to the Championship is all well and good, but Wrexham need to make sure they are equipped to survive in the second tier.
Phil Parkinson knows very well that his squad needs work, and he will be backed by the board to make sure the right signings (and sales) are made to put the Red Dragons in a good place for 2025/26.
Wrexham’s financial plans for the Championship campaign suggest they will go all out to not only survive but thrive in the division, which means we should see plenty of transfer activity this summer.
With this in mind, keep an eye on this guide to all the ins and outs, plus the latest transfer rumours for Wrexham.

Every confirmed Wrexham transfer in
We had to wait until the transfer window re-opened, but Wrexham have finally made their first summer signing. It’s a good one, too, with striker Ryan Hardie joining from Plymouth Argyle for a bargain fee.
Plymouth are gutted to lose Hardie, which tells you all you need to know about the player. He bagged 12 goals in the Championship last season, too, so he’s a proven goalscorer which is exactly what Wrexham needed.
It remains to be seen how Wrexham will use Hardie. He could partner Sam Smith as the most likely option, but Parkinson has plenty of options, including playing him deeper, or using him as an impact sub.
Players Wrexham have signed this summer:
- Ryan Hardie (£700,000 from Plymouth Argyle)

Every confirmed Wrexham exit this summer
While Wrexham have not sold a player yet this summer, we have seen seven players depart the club already as Parkinson clears the decks.
It’s worth keeping an eye on all the players released by Wrexham this summer, with the likes of Steven Fletcher, Mark Howard, and Jordan Davies all looking for new clubs.
Meanwhile, Sam Dalby has already found his next club, joining League One side Bolton on a free. The Dalby move is a fantastic one for Bolton, while Wrexham fans just hope Parkinson doesn’t regret his decision to let the striker go.

The latest Wrexham transfer rumours
It’s hard to know where to begin with Wrexham rumours, as it seems the Red Dragons are linked with a new player every single day.
One player Wrexham are strongly linked with right now is Lewis Travis, with the Blackburn Rovers skipper refusing to commit to a new contract at present. He could be available for around £2m.
Wrexham are also thought to be keen on Joe Gelhardt, a player they’ve been connected with a few times over the last year. Leeds United are ready to let him go, and it’s just a case of whether Wrexham can win that race.
The big question at Wrexham, though, regards the future of Paul Mullin. It looks increasingly likely that the legendary striker will be sold this summer, especially after the arrival of Ryan Hardie.
